What you’ll learn...

1. Decode vague communication feedback
Learn how to translate feedback such as “be more strategic,” “show more presence,” or “sound more confident” into observable behaviors and clearer development targets.
You’ll also learn how to get more useful information when the feedback you receive is too vague to act on.
2. Identify the communication patterns affecting how you come across
Learn to recognize common patterns that can make strong thinking harder for others to see, including over-explaining, burying the recommendation, weakening language, rushing, holding back, or changing how you communicate when pressure increases.
You’ll leave with greater clarity about one communication behavior you should focus on next.
3. Communicate your thinking more clearly and strategically
Practice a simple approach for communicating your point, connecting it to what matters, and making your recommendation easier to understand.

The goal is not to turn you into a different kind of communicator. It is to help your communication more accurately reflect the judgment, expertise and leadership you already bring. This is a working session, not a webinar. This will be an interactive, practical session with opportunities to apply what you’re learning in real time.
Dani will teach, demonstrate, and coach participants through examples so you can see what small changes in communication actually sound like.
